Local Capture Studio is an open, private capture workstation running completely in your browser without third-party server uploads. Video, tab audio, voice narration, and screenshots are encoded and processed locally with zero telemetry.

Flexible Capture Workflows

Select Sources

Toggle Screen Video, System/Tab Audio, and Microphone independently. Record audio alone without video, or mic alone.

Grant Browser Access

Click Start recording. Remember to check "Share system audio" or "Also share tab audio" in the browser's picker modal.

Live Chunk Persistence

Chunks are committed to IndexedDB every few seconds to prevent data loss. If screen sharing is stopped, the file is automatically finalized.

Export with Seeking Metadata

Outputs include standard EBML duration metadata so seek bars and time sliders move smoothly in VLC, Windows Media Player, and browser players.
